Marine Fabric for Boat Covers, Bimini Tops, Upholstery & Enclosures
Marine fabric is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions including UV exposure, rain, mildew, and constant use on the water. Whether you're replacing a boat cover, sewing a new bimini top, repairing marine upholstery, or building an enclosure, choosing the right fabric can dramatically affect how long your project lasts.
At Boat Cover Repair Advisor, we've worked with marine fabrics for over 40 years in our own canvas shop. We carry many of the same materials we use every day, including solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, waterproof marine fabrics, marine vinyl, mesh materials, and upholstery fabrics.
Popular uses include:
- Boat Covers
- Bimini Tops
- Pontoon Covers
- Marine Enclosures
- Boat Upholstery
- Outdoor Cushions
- Storage Covers
Which Marine Fabric Is Best?
For most boat covers and bimini tops, solution-dyed acrylic fabrics such as Sunbrella®, Recacril®, and Tempotest® provide excellent UV resistance, durability, and long-term performance.
For applications requiring maximum water resistance, fabrics such as Sunbrella Plus® and Seamark® offer additional waterproof protection.
