Gypsy Snaps
- Gypsy snaps, sometimes called double snaps or piggyback snaps, are used to snap two pieces of canvas to the same male snap stud on your boat or other surface.
- The base canvas installs with a gypsy snap that is snapped to the boat, then a second canvas cover with a plain dot snap snaps to the gypsy snap. This effectively allows two pieces of canvas to utilize the same male base snap.
- Requires a Pres-n-Snap® tool equipped with a gypsy snap die for installation.
- When ordering, be sure to also order durable sockets since you will need both sides for this fastener.
- Short snap is made of nickel brass.
- Long snap is made of nickel brass and brass stem.
