- Can be cut to your desired length while on your boat.
- When buying EZ-Xtend Zippers, a long zipper cannot be cut down and used on multiple zippers. You must buy one zipper per zipper so they will mate properly.
- EZ-Xtend Zippers are 1" in width. If needed, you can also use more than one EZ-Xtend Zipper mated together in order to fill wider gaps between your zippers.
- All orders Include SS zipper stop which allows you to cut zipper to length and place stop at end of zipper. This is exactly how we do it in our shop too!

- The most accurate way to identify your zipper is to use the zipper slider identity graphics found in the images.
- BEWARE some boats have both #8 and #10 zipper on their canvas, check carefully before ordering.
- Again DO NOT order a long zipper thinking you can cut it down and use the remainder on other zippers. Without the locking mechanism included with each zipper, you risk loosing your canvas overboard in rough weather or worse, someone leaning back on your canvas and falling overboard.
*We want you to know that the EZ-Xtend Zippers are NOT a sew-in zipper. These zippers have teeth on both sides
and zip into your existing zipper. They allow you to add an extra inch when your canvas has shrunk and won't zip closed.

2. Lightly run a tube of chapstick across the old zipper teeth,
this will help the new zipper and old zipper join together. Don't overdo it.
3. Zip in your new EZ-Xtend Zipper. Cut EZ-zipper to length.

Perfect fit for my Jeep rear window
I hope this review will help other 2010 soft-top Jeep Wrangler (or other "off" specs Jeep) owners with the same issue I had: a too-narrow rear window, whether original or replacement top. I was tired of holding together my window with duct tape and finding this Ex-tend Zipper was a godsend. I got two 35" pieces and they're an absolute perfect fit! Fast delivery and super quick and easy installation.

This is simply an email to say thank you for having this product! We purchased them for our “new to us” 2004 Searay Sundancer 300 that came with a camper canvas that seemed to have shrunk 2 sizes lol. To replace the canvas (which was in beautiful condition) would be thousands of dollars. We tried the snaps and while it worked as an extension, they just weren’t very “neat” looking. I came across your website when I was trying to come up with another solution and figured I would give it a try. So super easy to install, easy to cut to the length we need and they look like they have always been there. Not patched like the snap extenders look. Thank you so much! We’ll recommend you to all our boating friends with similar situations!

This was the perfect solution for our bimini top. Holding up the windshield panel was getting more difficult. Adding the extension added just enough material to make it easier, without it drooping. NIce product!

I bought this to extend the life of a zipper that was missing a few teeth on one side. Although not the stated purpose of the product, it works really well! My questions were answered quickly through email. I think the product is a bit pricey for what it is, but it's clever and seems well made. I recommend it!
